Rachel graduated in 2019 from Prior Lake High School. She started cheering in 5th grade and then went on to cheer for Prior Lake’s JV and Varsity teams. Rachel graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2023 with a Bachelor's in Education and got a job as a 4th-grade teacher. Rachel has coached for Lakeville's LVE and JV teams and is currently coaching LVA, Middle School, and North Sideline. She is excited to continue working with all these amazing athletes in this program.
McKenzie, a Lakeville South and Lakeville cheerleading alumni began cheering her sophomore year and following her graduation, McKenzie continued her journey at St. Cloud State University, where she cheered for the university’s football and men's basketball teams and competed at local competitions and College nationals. Her passion for cheerleading not only exemplified her dedication but also helped her build lifelong friendships and strengthen her sense of community.
After two years of college, McKenzie took a bold step to serve her country by enlisting in the Army. Rising to the rank of Sergeant, she has shown remarkable courage and resilience, embodying the values of discipline and service. Her experiences in the military have further shaped her character and deepened her commitment to supporting and inspiring others.
With holding a full time job with the military, McKenzie is back in school with the University of Minnesota graduating with a Bachelors in Sports and Recreational Management this May. She hopes that all athletes she works with will take all lessons learned out into the world with them and continue to lead by example.
