Welcome to Community Education Aquatics

The Community Education Aquatics and Safety program provides a wide range of swimming opportunities in the areas of instruction, recreation, fitness and safety certifications for infant through adult students in the Lakeville area and beyond.

Our program offers year-round instruction to give you or your child a great experience in the water. Our American Red Cross (ARC) trained instructors typically teach throughout the year, so you can count on seeing the same high-quality instructor at each lesson and session.

  • EVENING Fall Water Exercise - Pay as you go

    Ages 16+ Looking for a full body water workout? This class is great for those looking for a low impact water workout all while building strength and endurance using the properties of water. All equipment is provided. Locker rooms and showers are available. There is no ramp or stairs at the CMS or KTMS Pools, however, there is a lift, if needed, to get into and out of the pool. Please notify katey.radant@isd194.org in advance if you will need to use the lift. **Pool water temperature is 80-82 degrees. All classes are held at Kenwood Trail Middle School, 19455 Kenwood Trail. Wednesdays, October 1-December 10, NO CLASSES ON Oct 15 & Nov 26, 9 total dates Fee: $8/day OR register for the entire evening session and save by clicking HERE. *Pre-registration required. No cash taken on site.
  • Open Swim

    Join the fun for recreational swimming! Please review our Pool Rules prior to attending open swim. Swimmers must furnish suits and towels. Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices may be used, NO inflatables will be allowed. Those who cannot swim the width of the pool must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult. Swimmers may use approved goggles. Children under 2 are free, however, please register each child so we can stay within our max allowed in the pool. IMPORTANT REMINDERS! ■ When you arrive, please check in with the lifeguard on deck so they can confirm you have registered and paid. ALL participants must be registered via Eleyo. If you are not registered you can pay upon arrival if we are not at our maximum allowed. If we are at a full lifeguard to patron ratio you may be turned away if you have not registered in advance. ■ If you are using your free pass from a swim lesson bookmark or another event, YOU MUST bring that with you to show the lifeguard. If you cannot present a free swim pass you will be asked to pay before you swim. Free open swim passes are a one time use, unless otherwise noted on the pass. ■ We ask that participants do not enter the building more than 10 minutes prior to the start time. ■ Locker rooms and lockers will be available for changing and showering. Please bring your own lock to secure your valuables, or bring them out onto the deck with you. ■ There will be NO MAKE UP sessions if you do not show up for your registered date. ■ Children who are not potty trained are required to wear a disposable swim diaper, no reusable plastic diapers please. ■ Family restroom is available near the pool deck, with an infant changing station, but please limit time to allow other families to use this space as well, if needed.
