Aquatics and Safety offers swim lessons for babies age 6 months through adults. Certification classes are also offered such as lifeguard training and water safety assistant training.

  • Open Swim

    Join the fun for recreational swimming! Please review our Pool Rules prior to attending open swim. Swimmers must furnish suits and towels. Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices may be used, NO inflatables will be allowed. Those who cannot swim the width of the pool must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult. Swimmers may use approved goggles. Locker rooms are available for use, but no locker use. Children who are not potty trained are required to wear a disposable swim diaper. Open Swim Updates during COVID-19 ■ We ask that participants do not enter the building more than 10 minutes prior to their class start time. ■ Equipment use will be limited. Diving board will be open. Participants should bring their own lifejackets and goggles, however, we will have lifejackets available, if needed. ■ Masks are required until swimmers enter the water. ■ Socially distant seating in the balcony will be marked with tape. Anyone waiting in the balcony is required to wear a face covering at all times. Observers can access the balcony from the pool deck by walking through the locker room. Please limit observers for each group. ■ Participants and staff need to stay home if they are ill or have symptoms of illness. For more information regarding health screenings, please visit ■ Children and parents/guardians who will be getting into the water are encouraged to shower before entering the pool area. Swimmers should use the restroom before getting in the water to avoid going in and out of the pool area too often. ■ Personal belongings must be brought out to the pool deck and can be set along the pool deck next to the students class area. No locker use will be allowed at this time. ■ Unfortunately, there will be no family locker rooms available. ■ We are requesting that anyone who will be swimming come and leave in their swim attire, if possible. Locker rooms will be available for changing as the weather gets cooler, but please minimize time spent in the locker room. ■ Parents and students are asked to leave the locker room within 10 minutes of their class end time. ■ There will be NO MAKE UP sessions if you do not show up for your registered date. ■ Children who are not potty trained are required to wear a disposable swim diaper, no reusable plastic diapers please. ■ Children under 2 are free.
