About Cheer Open Gyms
Open gyms are intended for both new and returning members interested in cheering during the 2024-2025 Season. This includes squads such as JV Comp, Varsity Comp, Varsity North Sideline, and Varsity South Sideline.

  • Lakeville Cheer Middle School Open Gym

    *Current members on the Lakeville Elementary Advanced Team that are in 4th grade and up (24-25 SY) please email Lakevillecheer@isd194.org if interested. Kindly refrain from messaging individual coaches for approval. Grades 5-7 (24-25 School Year) We highly recommended open gym in addition to a spring session for those that are hoping to make a higher level team in the 25-26 school year. Open gyms are designed to support athletes who are interested in cheering for competition teams at various levels, including Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity, as well as Varsity Sideline. This session will have more focus on stunts, but athletes will also have the opportunity to work on jumps and tumbling. Open gym is highly recommended for both new and returning members, offering semi-structured sessions where athletes can work on individual skills while also engaging with others. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity for athletes to refine their abilities and prepare for tryouts in a supportive environment.
  • Lakeville Cheer JV & Varsity Open Gym

    *Current 6th and 7th grade members of Lakeville Cheer (24-25 SY) must obtain approval from the coaching staff before registering. Please be aware that participating in the JV/V open gym does not guarantee placement on either of the teams. Please email Lakevillecheer@isd194.org for approval. Kindly refrain from messaging individual coaches for approval. JV and Varsity open gym is designed to support athletes who are interested in cheering for competition teams at Junior Varsity, and Varsity, as well as Varsity Sideline. These sessions focus on developing essential cheer skills, such as jumps, tumbling, and stunts, in preparation for competitive cheerleading.
