Grades 3 and up! School of Fish is a 2 1/2-hour kids fishing class open to kids (and adults!) from grades 3 and up taught by pro angler and fishing TV show host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes, and some great ways to catch them. They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup. School of Fish is a 2 1⁄2 hour kids fishing class taught by Fishing the Midwest TV show host Included in the class: Rod & Reel Hannay’s Marine/School of Fish Hat (Hat is new this year and will replace the t-shirt) Tackle box and tackle School of Fish full color workbook One adult is invited to attend with a child at no additional charge, provided they share one equipment packet. Most importantly, however, graduates leave class with the knowledge, skills, and equipment to go fishing!

Pitch Perfect! helps children develop their singing voice and love of music through songs, games and group activities. Make new friends and have fun making music together. Camp students also have the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the MN Twins game on, June 18 at 6:40 pm (this optional Twins add-on involves an additional fee of $20 per ticket, including one for your singer Allegro Academy will be contacting families at the end of May to receive your order). *There is also a brief "Informance" at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 21, during which campers share what they learned with family and friends (free event). Ages 6-11 Join us for this drawing camp and move your drawing skills to the next level. In this camp you will develop drawing skills and become a more confident drawer. This is a short version of our popular 4 day drawing camp. Make drawing easier by using shapes and other drawing techniques that bring your art to life. We’ll draw cartoons, animals, landscapes and learn about perspective.

Grades 1-4 Using the latest WeDo® 2.0 system that LEGO® has to offer, ignite the STEM spark in your child with this amazing camp. We are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math and want to instill this in your child too. Fostering their natural curiosity, kids, working in pairs, will explore logic, pattern recognition, and math concepts as they are challenged to build increasingly sophisticated designs. As they do so, they’ll also develop basic programming techniques using custom-made programming blocks in PCs. Ages 5-11 Come and join us for a fun one day camp featuring some of our favorite Abrakadoodle lessons. Draw your own dog inspired by George Rodrigue and his favorite subject “Blue Dog”, use clay and seashells to sculpt a sea creature, and create colorful hens and chicks with chalk and oil pastels. Grades 1-5 From a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars comes to life! Work on a stop-motion animated Star Wars short. Students will create and design out-of-this-world scenes, vehicles, starships, and props. Then, our instructors will take students through the entire digital filmmaking process from start to finish. Students will create a Star Wars animation and participate in other Star Wars-themed STEAM activities. Bring a USB drive on the last day. Students should have basic reading skills. Grades 3-5 Do you like to draw? Have you ever wanted to learn how large pieces of sidewalk chalk art are created? Or want to learn a new and upcoming medium in the art world? This camp will teach you the basics to get you started on this diverse, exciting art form. Come prepared to get dirty as we create chalk art. Participants will learn new techniques, learn to use the gridding system, and will create a large piece of their choice to take home. Participants will be provided with a box of chalk that professional chalk artists use.

Grades 1-4 Let the battles begin! Designed by the experts at MIT, LEGO® WeDo Robotics' unique system teaches students about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Students may construct a catapult, ninja star, tank, battle axe, crossbow, and more in this camp! Students will be working in pairs. This is a “Pay Later” course! Grades 2-5 Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Do you have the right stuff? Grades 1-6 In this session, your child will learn about STEM and Programming concepts and will be challenged to build up to eight (8) different motorized Robotic and Engineering models. While building and programming these models, students will develop logical thinking ability and will learn various engineering concepts like Kinetic/Potential Energy, Chain Transmissions, Angular momentum, Newton’s Laws, Centrifugal force, etc. Examples of model’s student will be building include Power Plant, Military Tank, Construction Crane, Windmill, Sand Truck, Farming Plough and various others! Combo Camp - Christina Huddleston DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: Sprinting, throwing, relay running, jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic shoes.

DASH Sports flag football Tykes camps provide players with an introductory experience to the great game of football in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided.

Ages 5-11 Kids are talented artists! Let’s be inspired by Child artists. Learn about young artists who create fantastic artwork. Use watercolor and oil pastels to create a bird inspired by Olivia Bouler’s and learn about her artistic effort to save birds impacted by the Gulf Coast oil spill. Learn about radial design and create art inspired by a young Brazilian artist and more. Sculpt a colorful fish. Let young artists from around the world inspire your creations!
