  • Become a CODE HERO!

    Grades 3 - 6School age kids are invited to explore coding and robotics through a series of engaging and challenging activities and modules. Starting with BLOCK coding, students are guided through exercises using the SCRATCH and MICROBIT platforms. These hands-on platforms allow them to earn badges as they learn the basics of control statements, logic, and movement. This will help catapult them into SCRIPT languages like PYTHON, JAVA, and more! This 6 week course is only the beginning of a bright future as a CODE HERO!
  • Engineering Workshop with LEGO® Materials

    Grades K-3Join Play-Well TEKnologies for a workshop using the LEGO® Building System. Explore concepts in physics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and architecture while playing with your favorite creations. Utilizing thousands of LEGO® parts, we strive to build students' problem-solving skills, foster a greater appreciation of how things work, and encourage the qualities of inquisitiveness, self-reliance, and self-confidence in children. Projects for the workshop will be selected by the instructor based on the ages, experience levels, and interests of the children. Generally a workshop will consist of two or three projects.
  • FIRST LEGO League Workshop

    Getting ready for your first FLL Tournament? Bring your team to this FREE tournament prep session. This workshop is targeted specifically for teams that have never been to a competition, but all FLL teams are welcome.We will conduct mock judging sessions for Core Values, Research Project, Technical and Programming judging so that you can see what these sessions will be like in a tournament. Please come, no matter what shape your robot game and research project are in. This is to help your team get prepared for a tournament, so if you feel that your team will never be ready, this is exactly what you need! This workshop is for coaches and team members, but spectators are welcome!Coaches: Only register once for your team, everyone does not need to register individually.
  • Robotic Builders: Battlebots

    Grades 1-5Let the battles begin! Designed by the experts at M.I.T., LEGO WeDo Robotics’ unique system teaches students about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. In this camp, students may construct a Catapult, Ninja Star, Tank, Battle Axe, Crossbow, and more! Please bring a drink and snack daily.
