Bel Canto - Allegro Choral Academy

(Per trimester) Allegro Choral Academy is dedicated to providing a comprehensive vocal music experience to young people through the achievement of musical excellence in an environment that nurtures creativity, teamwork and the love of singing. The curriculum both challenges and inspires students. In addition to three performances throughout the year, singers are trained in reading music, ear training, musicianship, vocal development and ensemble skills. Performance dates listed in calendar below.. Most students participate for the entire season (Sept-May), however, registration in required one trimester at a time. VIEW FULL CALENDAR HERE Bel Canto Grades 6-9 Bel Canto is a treble choir open to students in grades 7-9 and advanced 6th graders (email office@allegroca.org if you have questions). Rehearsals emphasize the healthy development of a free and natural vocal production, while honing each singer's musicianship, expressivity and ear training abilities. Colorful Creations Art Camp

Grades K-5 Let’s have some fun this fall making creative art. We will use our imaginations to create some Wild Things inspired by Maurice Sendak’s book “Where The Wild Things Are”. Draw a dog, sculpt some colorful fall tree medallions and more. We’ll explore lots of mediums to create our colorful art. Love clay? Love 3D Art? Then this is the class for you. We’ll use clay in ways you never thought of before. We’ll use air-dry clay as well as model magic along with cool clay tools and our hands to sculpt a clay bird or cat, a silly animal, and create a colorful turkey pot. You’ll learn all about sculpting while creating some crazy cool art.

Thanksgiving Drawing Workshop

Grades K-5 Turkey Day Sketchers is a fun drawing class where children can learn to express their creativity while exploring the Thanksgiving theme. Children will have the opportunity to sketch and draw various Thanksgiving-inspired scenes, including turkeys, pumpkins, and autumn leaves. They will also learn about different techniques and tools to create their masterpieces, such as shading, blending, and coloring. At the end of the class, children will have their very own collection of Thanksgiving-themed drawings to share with family and friends. Beginners are welcome
