The Treats, Trades & Tours Career Club is an incredible opportunity for students to dive into various in-demand careers, providing them with hands-on experiences and direct exposure to local industries. This program is designed to engage students in a fun and structured environment, sparking their imaginations and helping them envision their future career paths. Here’s a brief look at what students can expect: Weekly Themed Sessions: Each week focuses on a different career field, offering discussions and activities tailored to introduce students to that industry. Off-Site Business Tours: Students are bussed to local businesses for tours, giving them the chance to interact with professionals and get a first-hand look at various careers. Financial Literacy Speaker: One week will feature a guest speaker who will teach students essential financial literacy skills—an important life lesson that will benefit them now and in the future. Safe & Welcoming Environment: Megan Reese Patterson, the club leader, creates a supportive and engaging space for students to explore careers and learn from local business experts. Treats, Trades & Tours Career Club has proven to be a popular and valuable resource for students who are excited to explore their career interests. Combining education, real-world experience, and community involvement, this program is setting students up for future success. Students from MMS and CMS can take the activity bus to KTMS to attend.
