Summer Band Camp for 5th Graders Only (24-25 school year)
Experience a full day of learning and exploring with our new Youth Enrichment Combo Camps for students going into grades 1-6! Why choose just a morning or afternoon of fun when you can have BOTH and a lunch break in the middle.
Advantage Educational Programs gives students the option of preparing for the ACT exam in three different ways: the In-School ACT Preparatory Course, the Virtual ACT Preparatory Course, or the Online ACT Preparatory Course.

Interested in discussing important current issues and simulating state government? Then Youth in Government (YIG) is for you! In YIG, students in grades 8-12 pick an area of interest and then assume the role of legislator, court of appeals lawyer, newspaper reporter, lobbyist, or other government position. Students prepare legislation, debate bills, write court briefs, or dozens of other things as they prepare for their particular role. The program culminates with 4 days of model assembly in January at the Minneapolis Hilton and St. Paul Capitol complex. IMPORTANT - You must register with 2 organizations!
1. Register for Youth in Government with Lakeville Area Community Education here. This fee is $80 - pay this fee online, just click "Enroll Now" This payment is due on Wednesday, October 23.
2. Then register with the YMCA at https://www.ymcanorth.org/locations/center_for_youth_voice/programs/youth_in_government/register. The EARLY BIRD fee to the YMCA is $499 until September 20, then $539 through October 11. From October 12, program registration increases to $559. Registration closes November 1.
Fee Assistance is available through Community Education and the YMCA.
