  • Cheer Open Gyms

    Open gyms are intended for both new and returning members interested in cheering during the 2024-2025 Season. This includes squads such as JV Comp, Varsity Comp, Varsity North Sideline, and Varsity South Sideline.
  • Lakeville Cheer Tryouts 2024

    Grades 3-12 (As of the Fall 2024 School Year) Please note these tryouts are intended for ISD194 students only. Teams are determined by a variety of factors including skill level, experience, teamwork, dedication, work ethic, leadership, and attitude. **Competition Squads require a STRONG attendance and cost commitment to the program. Please review the team descriptions for an idea of the cost and schedule that each squad requires. Please note that it is VERY important the level of commitment is understood prior to tryouts. Red and Gold squads do not require tryouts for Fall placement. Actual Tryout Date May 18 Clinic Times will be 4:30-6:30 pm or 6:30 - 8:30 pm depending on Grade Level. All Dates are required. See links below for more details!   • Elementary One Day Cheer Clinic

    This clinic is designed to introduce athletes to competition and sideline cheerleading, includig basics such as, stunting, motions, cheers, andlow level tumbling. The fee includes T-shirt, Hair Bow and lunch. Open to all ISD194 students.
  • High School

    JV Competitive Cheer - Grades 7-12 Our JV Comp squad is the first step in moving into our Varsity line. Hone your skills, and athleticism. This line includes sideline practice as well. Lakeville Varsity Competition Cheerleading - Grades 8-12 This team is designed for cheerleaders looking to compete at the local and national level. This squad will compete at 6-10 local competitions, State, and will compete for a bid to the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando. Tryouts are required for team placement. Lakeville North & South Sideline Cheer - Grades 8-12 Cheer on the home teams each fall with Lakeville Sideline Cheer! Students will be cheering for their respective schools.

    These clinics are designed to introduce athletes to competition and sideline cheerleading, including basics such as, stunting, motions, cheers, and low level tumbling. Clinics take place during the fall and summer.
  • Middle School

    Middle School Competition Cheer - Grades 5-9 This team is designed for cheerleaders who are ready to start working on advanced tumbling and stunting skills. Practice will be fast paced and will have a heavy emphasis on stunting and tumbling. The team takes part in a skills camp during the summer, along with professional choreography. They will compete at 5-7 local competitions, perfecting their routine for the MCCA State Competition! No prior experience needed, but tryouts are required. Middle School Sideline Cheer This registration is for current Lakeville Cheerleading Middle School team members that are participating on a Varsity Sideline Squad. This registration is for both North AND South Jr HIgh Crossovers.
  • Middle School Activities & Trips

    Get involved in classes, trips and service projects outside of the school day through Community Education. Whether you like technology, music or going to someplace fun on your day off from school we have something for everyone. Sign up for Cheer Club, Fencing, Babysitting, Voice or Piano Lessons, Coding, Service Projects, Second Language Classes or no school day/after-school trips.
  • Sports Camp

    SUN-SATIONAL SUMMER FUN AT SMALL WONDERS! Camp Small Wonders is a summer school program filled with a variety of themes and adventures that will fill your summer full of memories. Come discover the “fun” in learning. Summer classes are held at the Crystal Lake Education Center 16250 Ipava Ave. Lakeville and are for preschool children ages 3-6 who can toilet independently. Mark your calendars. We will contact you if a class is full, canceled or changed. Refunds are unavailable unless the class is cancelled. For more program information call 952-232-3001. Sports Camp Get ready to move your body and have fun in the sun as we learn to listen, cooperate and take turns at Sports Camp! Together, we will catch, throw and hit balls, kick soccer balls, shoot basketballs and explore the basics of some of our favorite team sports and active games. We’ll focus on how to be a teammate that encourages others and cheers for our peers. If skills feel challenging, we will learn that it is important to keep trying and give our best while we learn something new.   • Elementary School

    Our elementary cheer teams are here to teach you the basics, and improve your skills! Red Squad - Grades K-2 This is our youngest recreational Elementary squad ranging in grades K-2nd. This squad is designed to help introduce the basics of competitive cheerleading as well as prepare athletes for Elementary Novice and Elementary Comp. This squad will work age-appropriate jumps, stunts and tumbling. Cheerleaders will perform as an exhibition team at two local competitions and a showcase for this season. Gold Squad - Grades 3-6 This is our older recreational squad designed to help introduce the basics of cheerleading and as well prepare athletes for our Competitive Elementary & Jr High Squads. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at an easier level of commitment. Cheerleaders will be performing at a total of 2-3 events. Elementary Comp (LVE) - Grades 3-6* This is our beginner competition squad that is designed to help prepare athletes for the Elementary Advanced and Middle School level and will require very strong commitment & dedication. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at the level that keeps us competitive within the state. Members on this squad should have 1-2 years of experience on a previous team such as Red and Gold, however experience is not required. Tryout requirements must be met for placement. *2nd graders with a backwalkover will be eligible to try out for placement. Note this does not guarantee placement Elementary Advanced Comp (LVA) - Grades 3-6* This squad is designed to help prepare athletes for the Middle School level and will require very strong commitment & dedication. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at the level that keeps us competitive within the state. Members on this squad should have 1-2 years of experience on a previous squad such as Red, Gold, or LVE and as well meet minimum skills/scores at tryouts. *2nd graders with a backwalkover will be eligible to try out for placement. Note this does not guarantee placement
