Camp Small Wonders is a summer school program filled with a variety of themes and adventures that will fill your summer full of memories. Come discover the “fun” in learning. Summer classes are held at the Crystal Lake Education Center, 16250 Ipava Avenue, Lakeville and are for preschool children ages 3-6 who can toilet independently. Bubbles and Rainbows Bubbles and a rainbow of colorful centers will make this a favorite summer camp! You might get a little messy as we experiment with bubbles and create rainbow sun catchers. The science is simple, the colors are vivid and the singing will be music to our ears! Ages 5-11 Do you like to make cool crafts? Sculpt with clay? Draw cartoons? Then you should join us for this creative camp. We’ll sculpt a pink piggie and a tiny turtle, learn to draw cartoons, create a comic strip, make cute cactus in painted clay pots, a paper mâché bowl, and have tons of fun. Grades 1-5 The {YEL!} Teach It!…Practice It!...Play It! method keeps chess students progressing with 60+ chess lessons and thousands of puzzles as well as guided games and an end-of-week in-class tournament. Grades 2-5 This craft day is all about pampering yourself! We will create fizzy bath bombs, sugar scrubs, bath salts and many more spa related items. Customized jewelry pieces will also be assembled. Children will also learn about and get to test different essential oils. (Please advise as to allergy restrictions when registering).

Grades 1-6 DASH Sports Jr. NBA basketball skills camps provide players a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. This camp features 2 days of basketball skills training and instruction and 4 days of instructor led games/scrimmages. Each player will also receive a Jr. NBA jersey of their favorite team with registration. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Balls are provided.

Combo Camp - Lake Marion Dash Sports flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided.

Combo Camp - Oak Hills DASH Sports Summer Sports Sampler & Games camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: soccer, flag football, and baseball. Learn and practice the key sports skills for all three sports daily while developing the key skill components and gameplay of each sport. This camp also includes fun games such as dodgeball, kickball, capture the flag and more! Camp ends with games/scrimmages practiced in all 3 sports! Bring a baseball glove, sunscreen, water bottle and snack and athletic shoes and clothing.

Combo Camp - Christina Huddleston DASH Sports Summer Track & Field camps provide participants with practice in several areas including: Sprinting, throwing, relay running, jumping and distance running. Emphasis is on technique and proper form. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall track and field performance. Campers should bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic shoes.

Grades 2-5 Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Students will make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout this session. We will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. We will also hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. Do you have the right stuff? Stomp, stomp! Could that be the sound of dinosaurs thundering down the hall? No, but it could be the sound of excited preschoolers arriving at our classroom door! This class is for our youngest experts in paleontology and archeology! Children will travel to the past to explore dinosaurs, fossils and prehistoric environments. Drama Lab is a theatre arts enrichment experience that uses drama as a tool to develop future creators who will stand out as leaders among their peers. We guarantee that each student will burst with laughter during our classes while improving their social skills, listening, problem solving, and focus. Drama Lab classes enable students to explore their acting skills in a variety of ways including: Improvisation Short Scenes Monologues Character Development Theatre Games and more! This clinic is designed to introduce athletes to competition and sideline cheerleading, includig basics such as, stunting, motions, cheers, andlow level tumbling. The fee includes T-shirt, Hair Bow and lunch. Open to all ISD194 students.

Grades 1-5 Chain reactions! Design and build amazing moving machines and teach our Lego bricks new tricks! With an active imagination as your guide, there are endless possibilities. Students working in pairs will learn about physics and engineering concepts such as Velocity, Projectiles, Trajectories, Force, Motion, and more. Every day students will learn new ways to combine Legos to cause different chain reactions and, on the last day, design their own Rube Goldberg Machine. This is a “Pay Later” course!
