  • Dynamic Dudes

    Dynamic Dudes Ages 4-12, Separated by Age This is a beginner to advanced beginner level class. It teaches the basics of men’s gymnastics events: rings, vault, pommel horse/mushroom, floor, and bars. Our program is designed to keep pace with the high energy levels of young boys, while also improving strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence. Class is divided into 4-5 year olds and 6 years and up.

    Have some FUN before or after school! Each class offered changes curriculum from the previous session. Students can register for classes at a school they do not attend, but transportation is the parent’s responsibility.
  • Elementary School

    Our elementary cheer teams are here to teach you the basics, and improve your skills! Red Squad - Grades K-2 This is our youngest recreational Elementary squad ranging in grades K-2nd. This squad is designed to help introduce the basics of competitive cheerleading as well as prepare athletes for Elementary Novice and Elementary Comp. This squad will work age-appropriate jumps, stunts and tumbling. Cheerleaders will perform as an exhibition team at two local competitions and a showcase for this season. Gold Squad - Grades 3-6 This is our older recreational squad designed to help introduce the basics of cheerleading and as well prepare athletes for our Competitive Elementary & Jr High Squads. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at an easier level of commitment. Cheerleaders will be performing at a total of 2-3 events. Elementary Comp (LVE) - Grades 3-6* This is our beginner competition squad that is designed to help prepare athletes for the Elementary Advanced and Middle School level and will require very strong commitment & dedication. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at the level that keeps us competitive within the state. Members on this squad should have 1-2 years of experience on a previous team such as Red and Gold, however experience is not required. Tryout requirements must be met for placement. *2nd graders with a backwalkover will be eligible to try out for placement. Note this does not guarantee placement Elementary Advanced Comp (LVA) - Grades 3-6* This squad is designed to help prepare athletes for the Middle School level and will require very strong commitment & dedication. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at the level that keeps us competitive within the state. Members on this squad should have 1-2 years of experience on a previous squad such as Red, Gold, or LVE and as well meet minimum skills/scores at tryouts. *2nd graders with a backwalkover will be eligible to try out for placement. Note this does not guarantee placement

  • Gymnastics

    Lakeville Gymnastics is a three-component program to serve all of your gymnastics needs from beginner to high school. We’ve teamed up to offer this comprehensive program which gives continuity to the skills all gymnasts learn, preparing those who wish to go on to compete in advanced and high school levels. “Lakeville Gymnastics” starts with Lakeville Area Community Education Gymnastics for Beginners through Intermediates.     JV Competitive Cheer - Grades 7-12 Our JV Comp squad is the first step in moving into our Varsity line. Hone your skills, and athleticism. This line includes sideline practice as well. Lakeville Varsity Competition Cheerleading - Grades 8-12 This team is designed for cheerleaders looking to compete at the local and national level. This squad will compete at 6-10 local competitions, State, and will compete for a bid to the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando. Tryouts are required for team placement. Lakeville North & South Sideline Cheer - Grades 8-12 Cheer on the home teams each fall with Lakeville Sideline Cheer! Students will be cheering for their respective schools.

  • Intermediate 1

    Intermediate 1 (ages 5 and up) Participants learn to be comfortable with new skills in deep water and learn front crawl, back crawl and elementary backstroke to basic standards of competency. Safety topics include basic water safety, healthy swimming, safe water entry, helping yourself and others in an emergency, use of lifejackets, safe weather conditions for swimming, and waterpark safety. Skills: Jump into deep water Kneeling dive Survival float, 20 sec. Back float, 20 sec. Tread water, 20 sec. Front crawl, 15 yd. Back crawl, 15 yd. Elementary backstroke, 15 yd. Breaststroke kick, 15 yd. Prerequisite: Completion of or Beginner 2 or have equivalent skills.
  • Intermediate 2

    Intermediate 2 (Ages 5 and up) Participants increase endurance, improve competency for strokes learned in Intermediate 1 and learn breaststroke to basic standards of competency. Safety topics include basic water safety, healthy swimming, safe water entry, helping yourself and others in an emergency, use of lifejackets, safe weather conditions for swimming, and waterpark safety. Skills: Standing dive Swim under water, 5 yd., retrieve object Feet-first surface dive Somersault Open turn: Front crawl Open turn: Back crawl Tread water, 1 min. Front crawl, 25 yd.   • Lakeville Cheerleading

    Lakeville Cheerleading is proud to serve almost 200 athletes each season, and is available to all students grades K-12. Offering introductory and recreation cheerleading to local and national level competition teams, Lakeville Cheerleading strives to meet students where they are at while providing a fun and safe environment to learn the sport of cheerleading. In addition to our competitive teams, we also offer sideline cheerleading for our two high school football teams, and other sports as requested. This year-long program offers students the chance to improve their athletic skills, coordination, teamwork and confidence.     Lakeville Online Acadmemy offers courses for students in current grades 9-11 each summer.
  • Lap Swim

    Adult Lap Swim Ages 18+ Swim laps at your own pace. Equipment is available for use including kickboards, pull buoys and fins. Pool water temperature is 80-82 degrees. Locker rooms and showers are available. There is no ramp or stairs at the CMS Pool, however, there is a lift, if needed to get into and out of the pool. Please notify katey.radant@isd194.org in advance if you will need to use the lift.

  • Mat Rats

    Mat Rats Ages 5-13 with instructor approval Mat Rats is the first step towards a competitive Xcel gymnastics program. This is an invite only pre team where students work closely with coaches on strength, flexibility, shaping and self-confidence. If you are looking for a challenging gymnastics program, but less of a time commitment than a traditional competitive program, this fun, flexible program is for you. On beam, students will learn cartwheels and handstands, plus jumps and turns. Our coaches will help develop stronger round offs and handstands and will introduce harder skills such as walkovers and handsprings. This class will develop connections during floor routines and basic choreography as well as intermediate skills on bars and vaulting. We are thrilled with the popularity and your support of this program that has enabled us to offer more training options as our dedicated Xcel prep gymnasts advance. This class is 115 minutes.
  • Middle School

    Middle School Competition Cheer - Grades 5-9 This team is designed for cheerleaders who are ready to start working on advanced tumbling and stunting skills. Practice will be fast paced and will have a heavy emphasis on stunting and tumbling. The team takes part in a skills camp during the summer, along with professional choreography. They will compete at 5-7 local competitions, perfecting their routine for the MCCA State Competition! No prior experience needed, but tryouts are required. Middle School Sideline Cheer This registration is for current Lakeville Cheerleading Middle School team members that are participating on a Varsity Sideline Squad. This registration is for both North AND South Jr HIgh Crossovers.
