    The ACE (Academics, Competencies, Enrichment) Program is an after-school, ISD194 staff supervised program for students in sixth through eighth grade at Century, Kenwood Trail and McGuire Middle Schools. The program provides a positive and safe environment for students to receive homework help. In addition to homework help, students will have the opportunity to learn keyboarding skills, receive help with organization, and also receive one on one help from high school tutors and participate in other enrichment activities.  After-school enrichment programs have been shown to help improve student’s confidence, academic achievement, creativity, time management skills, influence teamwork, and relieve stress on working families.     The ACE2 (Academics, Competencies, Enrichment) Program is an after-school, ISD194 staff supervised program for students in 9th grade at Lakeville South High School. The program provides a positive and comfortable environment for students to receive Math homework help. As students meet their goals, they will have the opportunity to work on skill building and peer leadership opportunities that focus on fundraising for families in need in our community. Each day students will be provided an after school snack included in the program fee.After-school programs have shown great success in improving student's confidence, academic achievement, time management skills, and helps to relieve stress on families in the evening.   • Become a CODE HERO!

    Grades 3 - 6School age kids are invited to explore coding and robotics through a series of engaging and challenging activities and modules. Starting with BLOCK coding, students are guided through exercises using the SCRATCH and MICROBIT platforms. These hands-on platforms allow them to earn badges as they learn the basics of control statements, logic, and movement. This will help catapult them into SCRIPT languages like PYTHON, JAVA, and more! This 6 week course is only the beginning of a bright future as a CODE HERO!

    Ages 7-11 This class is designed to for students who have already completed Cliff Hangers I! Continue to work on your climbing skills, and techniques. Each class is taught by an experienced instructor who will provide a safe and engaging atmosphere for your climber to learn. Lessons are designed to help improve climbers’ abilities, as well as prepare them for more advanced climbing. Play fun climbing games each week! Classes held at Lifetime Fitness, Lakeville.

    Ages 7-11This class is designed to teach climbing basics to kids! The course covers terminology, Auto-Belay safety, entry level top rope climbing, bouldering and knot tying. Each class is taught by an experienced instructor who will provide a safe and engaging atmosphere for your climber to learn. Lessons are designed to help improve climbers’ abilities, as well as prepare them for more advanced classes. Play fun climbing games each week! Classes held at Lifetime Fitness, Lakeville.
  • CrossFit Kids - Ages 3-8

    Grades K-3 Our Crosswinds CrossFit Kids have so much fun doing fitness, they don’t even realize it is fitness! They begin with a warm up, stretching, do a quick workout and finish with a game. They learn not only basic physical skills, but also social skills and confidence. Children learn fundamental movements including squats, push-ups, pull ups, climbing, jumping, running, stretching and elementary gymnastics movements. More importantly, your child will also learn to follow directions, listen, communicate, and play with others. Every class includes game play and positive reinforcement. Your child’s confidence, both physically and mentally, will grow with each class.

    Grades K-3Join Play-Well TEKnologies for a workshop using the LEGO® Building System. Explore concepts in physics, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and architecture while playing with your favorite creations. Utilizing thousands of LEGO® parts, we strive to build students' problem-solving skills, foster a greater appreciation of how things work, and encourage the qualities of inquisitiveness, self-reliance, and self-confidence in children. Projects for the workshop will be selected by the instructor based on the ages, experience levels, and interests of the children. Generally a workshop will consist of two or three projects.

    Getting ready for your first FLL Tournament? Bring your team to this FREE tournament prep session. This workshop is targeted specifically for teams that have never been to a competition, but all FLL teams are welcome.We will conduct mock judging sessions for Core Values, Research Project, Technical and Programming judging so that you can see what these sessions will be like in a tournament. Please come, no matter what shape your robot game and research project are in. This is to help your team get prepared for a tournament, so if you feel that your team will never be ready, this is exactly what you need!   • Frosty or Rudolph Wall Art Painting

    Grades 1 and upMake your favorite holiday story characters come to life by painting either a Frosty the Snowman or Rudolph the Red Noised Reindeer cut out! The wood cutout is 14 inches tall and is waiting for you to customize with your favorite colors. A hanger will be provided so it will be ready for you to display after class. In addition to painting your choice of character you will be doing fun holiday related activities and enjoy a holiday treat. This class includes products that may include nuts, gluten and dairy. Please note any food allergies with registration.Please state if you would like to paint Frosty or Rudolph at time of registration.     Come and learn to Make FryBread! This is a traditional American Indian food that is often made during family or community gatherings. During this class you will watch a professional make the FryBread and then try it on your own! After learning the basic, you can take home sample of your own creation.

    Grades K-5Golf Squad® classes are the most professionally instructed, convenient, and organized way of bringing golf education to people of all ages. All Golf Squads are taught by PGA Professionals only. In a social and fun environment, people learn the vocabulary, etiquette, safety, social and technical aspects necessary to enjoy golf for a lifetime.To ensure the safety and security of your children, we need to have adequate time to get all of the participant information to the instructor, school Office Manager, etc. Registrations will not be accepted after 12:00 (noon) on the day prior to the start date of class.Students do not need their own clubs, but are welcome to bring them if the school will let them store them during the day.     Grades K-5New and returning students invited. Each YEL! Chess class follows four basic components:Teach It! Each class students are taught different chess concepts and coached to implement those concepts into their chess games. Practice It! Students practice positions set by the coach to improve their understanding of the concept. Puzzle It! Students are given chess puzzles (constructed by WIM Serafima Sokolovskaya) and work with coach guidance to solve them. Play It! Each class ends with students playing 20-30 minutes of chess. Coaches often feature in-class tournaments during the session.     Ages 12-17 This entry level climbing course is designed to teach climbing basics to middle school and high school students. The course covers terminology, Auto-Belay safety, entry level top rope climbing, and bouldering. Each class is taught by an experienced instructor who will provide a safe and engaging atmosphere for your climber to learn. Climbers will also learn how to Top Rope belay, a crucial climbing skill they can use in and outside of class. Course is divided into two sections; first portion covers climbing basics and familiarizes climbers with the wall, while the second section delves into technique and skill development.     Grades 1-5Get into the holiday spirit by decorating Holiday inspired cupcakes! Each child will leave with 6 delicious decorated cupcakes in a cupcake carrier.     This event is especially for students in grades K-12 with special needs, along with their families and friends.Join us for a special craft project with Watch Me Draw! you can take home with you, enjoy pizza and cookies, and then have fun in a sing-a-long with Santa to celebrate this holiday season!  All students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  All family members are welcome to attend.  Pre-registration is required for all attending.  Fee is $5 per student/guest pair, or a max of $15 per family.
