Grades 1-5 Join us in this new multiplayer Minecraft class. We will go over basic, and not so basic building techniques. Then work alone or collaboratively to complete building challenges on our Tech Academy Minecraft servers. We will be using the PC/Java edition of Minecraft. Grades 1-5 Chain reactions! Design and build amazing moving machines and teach our Lego bricks new tricks! With an active imagination as your guide, there are endless possibilities. Students working in pairs will learn about physics and engineering concepts such as Velocity, Projectiles, Trajectories, Force, Motion, and more. Every day students will learn new ways to combine Legos to cause different chain reactions and, on the last day, design their own Rube Goldberg Machine. This is a “Pay Later” course! Grades 4-7 Design, develop, and create 3D Virtual Reality environments and characters to make your own 3D games and other virtual reality for kid’s projects on Metaverse new platform Hatch. Hatch is an incredibly fun and stimulating way to learn STEM! This class is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, coding, and want to explore the limitless possibilities of VR. VR programs can be viewed on most mobile phones, and VR Systems like oculus or google cardboard. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. This is a “Pay Later” course! Grades 1-4 Let the battles begin! Designed by the experts at MIT, LEGO® WeDo Robotics' unique system teaches students about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Students may construct a catapult, ninja star, tank, battle axe, crossbow, and more in this camp! Students will be working in pairs. This is a “Pay Later” course! Grades 1-5 From a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars comes to life! Work on a stop-motion animated Star Wars short. Students will create and design out-of-this-world scenes, vehicles, starships, and props. Then, our instructors will take students through the entire digital filmmaking process from start to finish. Students will create a Star Wars animation and participate in other Star Wars-themed STEAM activities. Bring a USB drive on the last day. Students should have basic reading skills. Grades 3-7 Explore the awesome world of Dungeons & Dragons! Learn about the game, create your own character, and embark on a short one-shot adventure.
