ACE After School Homework Enrichment Program-MMS

The ACE (Academics, Competencies, Enrichment) Program is an after-school, ISD194 staff supervised program for students in sixth through eighth grade at Century, Kenwood Trail and McGuire Middle Schools. The program provides a positive and safe environment for students to receive homework help. In addition to homework help, students will have the opportunity to learn keyboarding skills, receive help with organization, and also receive one on one help from high school tutors and participate in other enrichment activities. After-school enrichment programs have been shown to help improve student’s confidence, academic achievement, creativity, time management skills, influence teamwork, and relieve stress on working families. Each day students will be provided an after school snack included in the program fee. For more information on the program, please contact Pam at pamela.mcnutt@isd194.org or call 952-232-2172. Fee Assistance available for those who are on the Free/Reduced lunch program.

Lisa Lemley

Lisa has been working in education for 9+ years as a paraprofessional at MMS. She has been tutoring in Lakeville Schools in the ACE program for the past 2 years. Lisa works with students that are at risk of not passing their classes. She works closely with the classroom teachers to reteach lessons, complete missing work, study for and retake tests, and help with organization, study skills, and anything else that comes her way. She is happy to working with other students at MMS that need a little boost to get their work done and help them better understand what they are doing in class as the ACE instructor.

Lisa loves to be outdoors during the spring and summer months. She also loves scrapbooking, spending time with her family and taking walks with her two dogs. She has three children. Her oldest, Megan, is a junior at UND pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. Her middle child, Chase, is a junior at Iowa State pursuing a mechanical engineering degree. Her youngest, Hunter, is a senior at Lakeville North High School.
